English: ... the windows of the vaults of the chorus of the cathedral of Amiens are contemporary of the Ste Chapelle of Paris were made during years 1240 to 1245; however, the mullions of these windows are traced according to a extremely-simple and very-good geometrical principles. It should be said that these mullions consist of only one central beam carrying the open-type screen under the archivolts (see: VAULT, fig. 39 and 40). In fig.(5), in A [at the bottom], the horizontal section of one of these windows with its central mullion B are lines B0 B and B1, axes of the central mullion and the posts of the jambs.
