Español: El lienzo lleva por título Noli me tangere, que según el versículo 17 del capítulo 20 del Evangelio de San Juan fueron las palabras que Jesucristo dirigió a María Magdalena en el momento en que se apareció a ella después de su resurrección. Y en dicho pasaje del Evangelio de San Juan se afirma que Cristo le dijo: «No me toques porque aún no he subido hasta mi Padre».
