Information Systems Technician 3rd Class DeAndre Burns, assigned to the San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock ship USS Mesa Verde (LPD 19), blocks a strike from Lance Cpl. Robert Sedorchuk, assigned to Light Armored Reconnaissance Company, Battalion Landing Team, 3rd Battalion 6th Marines, during the confidence course portion of a non-lethal training class July 7, 2017. Mesa Verde and 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit, is underway as part of the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 6th Fleet U.S. 5th Fleet areas of operation.
