English: Messerschmitt Bf 108 B-1 Taifun, A- 201, HB-HEB (built 1938, c/n 1988) at the Fly In in Schaffen 2012. The Taifun was a German single-engine sports, training and touring aircraft developed by Bayerische Flugzeugwerke (Bavarian Aircraft Works).
This airplane was bought by the Swiss Air Force in 1938 as part of a lot of 15. They were decommissioned in 1959. It was found in deplorable state, restored and made its first flight after restoration on 30 april 2011.
Nederlands: Messerschmitt Bf 108 B-1 Taifun, A- 201, HB-HEB (bouwjaar1938, c/n 1988) op de vliegmeeting in Schaffen 2012. De Taifun is een Duits vliegtuig dat in 1934 door Bayerische Flugzeugwerke werd ontworpen als sport- en trainingsvliegtuig.
Dit toestel werd, samen met veertien andere toestellen, in het kader wan de wederbewapening door de Zwitserse luchtmacht in 1938 gekocht. In 1959 werd het uit dienst genomen. Het werd teruggevonden in een erbarmelijke staat. Na een restauratie maakte het zijn eerste vlucht op 30 april 2011. |
