Description
Deutsch: Die Messikommer Eiche gehört zu Wetzikon-Robenhausen. Sie ist über 500 Jahre alt und seit 1927 dem Wetziker Amateurarchäologen Jakob Messikommer gewidmet. Der rechts neben der Eiche stehende Stein soll der Original-Grabstein Jakob Messikommers sein. 2005 wurde die Eiche von einem Blitz getroffen, worauf der Gemeinderat von Seegräben eine Prüfung des Baumes anordnete. Eine Tomographie des Baumes ergab, dass die Eiche vorläufig stehen gelassen werden kann.
