Català: Metorit_caigut_damunt_Terrassa_el_1704. El dia de Nadal del 1704 un gran llum va aparèixer al cel de Catalunya. Es tractava d’un meteorit d’un quilogram de tipus rocós que es va estavellar prop de Catalunya. Fou recollit a la Miscel·lània Científica de Josep Bolló, que va fer el dibuix descrivint-lo com Signe Magnut aparuit in CelSeñal del Cel que ab grandissim estruendo aparegué als 25 de desembre, dia de Nadal, del añy 1705 alas 5 horas de la tarda. Fou cosa molt orrorosa axi per trobarse lo Emisferi ben clar y ceré com per lo gran rimbombo y resplandor que feu. Y segons havem observat se pot dir que era presagi de las miseries y calamitats que ha patit i pateix tot lo Regne de España y mes en particular lo Principat de Cathalunya. |
