Voie communale du Grand-Moulin.

Les Mauves sont un ensemble de trois petites rivières qui traversent la ville. Elles sont alimentées par la nappe de Beauce.

Les Mauves ne sont pas "naturelles", mais mais façonnées par la main de l'homme, quand les marécages ont été assainis (Saint-Liphard)

Jadis force motrice permettant aux moulins à roues à aube de Meung de fonctionner, les Mauves s'écoulent en petits bras d'eau limpides qui se rejoignent en une seule rivière à la sortie de Meung-sur-Loire, avant de se jeter dans la Loire à Baule.


The Mauves are a set of three small rivers that cross the city. They are powered by the Beauce aquifer.

The Mauves are not "natural", but but shaped by the hand of man, when the marshes were cleaned (Saint-Liphard)

Once driving force enabling mills waterwheels Meung run the Mallows flow in small clear water arm meet at a single river exit Meung-sur-Loire, before emptying into the Loire Baule.
