English: 2-D velocity field visualisation of mq's SS-433 jet's fluid, using data made with PLUTO hydrocode. The velocity of plasma near the jet central-axis is ~0.27c. (c: light velocity). Visualisations like this may help people to observe phenomenons that are not observable with telescopes cause of their distance from the earth. Ελληνικά: Δισδιάστατη απεικόνιση του πεδίου ταχύτητας στον πίδακα του μικροημιαστέρα SS-433, συμφωνα με δεδομένα που δημιουργήθηκαν από προσομοίωση στο πρόγραμμα PLUTO. Η ταχύτητα του πλάσματος κοντά στον κεντρικό άξονα φτάνει περίπου τα 0.27c (c: ταχύτητα φωτός). Απεικονίσεις σαν αυτή βοηθούν στην παρατήρηση φαινομένων τα οποία δεν είναι ορατά με τηλεσκόπια, λόγω της μεγάλης απόστασης τους από την Γή. |
