Description
English: Buildings on the west side of Main Street, Middletown, Connecticut, USA. All are contributing properties of the Main Street Historic District, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The first three are now the headquarters of Liberty Bank. Those three are:
  • Former post office 291 Main Street, built 1916, also on the NRHP in its own right (Reference # 82004338).
  • Former Middletown Savings Bank, 315 Main Street, built 1928.
  • Old Banking House Block, 319-323 Main Street, south section built 1796; north section built 1815, and also part of Liberty Bank's headquarters.

Next, and still readily visible here:

  • Guy & Rice Building, 335 Main Street, built 1930.
  • Commercial Building, 339-351 Main Street, Middletown, Connecticut, USA, built 1892 as YMCA. As of the time this was photographed in 2012, about to be the new home of the longstanding Mexican restaurant La Boca.
