Description: This photograph is part of the Giesecke collection of photographs of Mexico, which includes 31 panoramic photographs made with a Cirkut Camera, many by Eugenio. B. Downing often working with Kurt P. Giesecke. This photograph is panorama number 4 in the Finding Aid. Formal portrait, mostly of military men with President Porfirio Diaz and members of his cabinet, at a celebration. Diaz is dressed in civilian attire and has been marked with a handwritten x by the photographer. Ramon Corral, Secretary of the Interior and Vice-President, is to the left of Diaz, while to the right of Diaz is General Manuel Gonzalez Cosio, Secretary of War and the Navy. To the right of Cosio is Enrique Creel, Secretary of Foreign Affairs, Olegario Molina, Secretary of Public Promotion, and Leandro Fernandez, Secretary of Communications and Public Works.
