| Description |
English: Millennium Clock This has to be one of the more unpleasant millennium memorials I have encountered. Very controversial at the time, but they did manage to waste a lot of cash on a tacky giftshop ornament, prone to breaking down, hoist on some industrial steel works. Featuring an instrument of torture too - the town has an obsession with ducking stools, having used them on non compliant women as recently as 1809.
The good news is that it is placed against another eyesore. It is so bad that it is almost worth a trip to Leominster to see it. |
