English: Minchinhampton Common: beware of cows. To the south of Stroud, Rodborough and Minchinhampton Commons are large open areas inhabited by herds of cows with little road sense. Speed limits on the wide, straight roads across the common are set at 40 mph for this reason, but stories of cars hitting cows are still all too frequent. |
