Deutsch: Die Inschrift am Denkmal des Großen Kurfürsten in Minden, Nordrhein-Westfalen: GEDENKE DASS DU EIN DEUTSCHER BIST DER GROSSE KURFÜRST 1648 Die Inschrift deutet wohl auf die Angliederung des Hochstifts Minden, dessen Hauptstadt Minden war, an Brandenburg-Preußen unter Regentschaft des „Großen Kurfürsten“ Friedrich Wilhelm von Brandenburg im Jahre 1648 hin. Die Inschrift ist somit eine Aufforderung zur Einigkeit und gegen die Kleinstaaterei, da die vereinnahmenden Preußen und die annektierten Mindener doch letztlich alle Deutsche sind.
