Português: Santa Casa da Misericórdia do Funchal.

Edifício iniciado em 1612, mas embargado e retomado depois em 1690. Pormenor da fotografia que apanha igualmente a construção do Banco Nacional Ultramarino Fotógrafo não identificado, 1925. Avenida Arriaga, Funchal, ilha da Madeira.

Em 1937 iniciava-se a demolição da parte da antiga Escola Médico-Cirurgica do Funchal que acendeu grande polémica na comunicação social do Funchal, pois foi demolida a antiga porta da Misericórdia do Funchal daquele lado e remontada na nova fachada virada à Avenida Zarco. O problema de dobrar a esquina, ou não, para abrir a avenida, foi então chacota geral nos jornais locais.
