English: Relief shown by contours and hachures. Prime meridian: Washington. "Entered according to Act of Congress, in the year 1834 by S. Augustus Mitchell in the Clerks office of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania." "Population of South Carolina, by Districts, in 1849" pasted on verso. Insets: Vicinity of Charleston -- Vicinity of Columbia. Available also through the Library of Congress Web site as a raster image. Signed on verso: Millard Fillmore, March 1853.
