  • Beschreibung: Die Bornheimer Pforte der Staufenmauer, Frankfurt am Main. Der Platz oben ist die heutige Konstablerwache, die Straße nach rechts die damalige Judengasse, die Straße nach unten die Fahrgasse, die zur Mainbrücke führt. Die Bornheimer Pforte wurde im späten 12. Jahrhundert erbaut und 1711 bei einem großen Stadtbrand zerstört.

  • Description: Bornheim Gate, Frankfurt am Main. The open space on top "Tank plan" is today's Konstablerwache square in central Frankfurt, the street to the right is Judengasse (the then jewish ghetto), the street in front is Fahrgasse leading to Old Bridge across Main river. The gate was bulit in late 12th century and burned down in 1711.
