____________ Le musée du design, ouvert dans un bâtiment peu attractif et un peu excentré; est peu valorisé par la promotion touristique de la ville. Il organise pourtant des expositions de très haut niveau sur l'histoire du design et possède un important centre de documentation.

A l'occasion de WDC Helsinki 2012, l'exposition "Finnish Design 1945-1967" du musée était la première exposition à visiter pour se remémorer l'histoire de la création en Finlande et les grands succès de ses designers
