| Description |
English: Moira - the main street. The Plantation villages of Co Londonderry (formerly Co Coleraine) were planned around a central square known as "The Diamond". In Armagh and Down some villages developed to a plan decided by the landowner. In the case of Moira 1373988 there is a long main street partly lined with trees. The central part of the street is wider and, in practice, amounts to a rectangular "Square". The view is towards Lisburn. |
