English: Coat of arms of the Moldavian ruling Prince Grigore Alexandru Ghica, also preserved as family arms by the Comănești and Sulgearoglu Ghica branches. Unlike the Ghicas of Wallachia, who generally used a characteristic symbol called "tears and bezantes", these clans used aiglettes and bezantes, possibly reverting to an earlier heraldic practice. This variant also uses aiglettes tinctured sable, whereas other Moldavian Ghicas used aiglettes tinctured or and also replaced or in the field with gules.
