Summary edit

Description
English: Supplementary Movie 5 Blockage of Won Willebrand factor (VWF) reduces attachment of extDNA and other NET components, such as neutrophil elastase (NE), to liver vasculature. Mouse A was injected only with MRSA and imaged 24 hour later. Mouse B was first injected with anti-VWF blocking antibody, 30 minutes later with MRSA, and then imaged after 24 hours. At the time of imaging, AF647-anti-NE antibody was injected via the jugular vein to stain neutrophil elastase (blue), and Sytox Green was infused by the same route to stain extDNA in real time (bright green). For each mouse, both channels (green and blue) were recorded at the same time but are shown here separately for clarity. Part I: staining of extDNA, part II: staining of NE. The scale bars indicate 20 μm. The video was recorded for approximately 10 minutes, for details see the time stamp.
