Summary edit

Description

From a walk starting at the old Miller's Dale station, up Chee Dale to the end, then a climb up and walk across fields to the village of Wormhill. From there I took the bridleway to the head of Monk's Dale, and down through the purgatorial 'rain forest' upper section of Monk's Dale, then through the orchid-rich lower section, and back to the car park.

This clump of orchids were at the point where the heavily-wooded part of Monk's Dale opens out into limestone grassland.
