English: The image shows the Indus river in northwestern Pakistan. The image was taken of the river during monsoon season. The satellite picture was taken using visible light and infrared to better show the contrast between water and land. Water varies in colour from electric blue to navy. Vegetation is green and bare ground is pinkish brown. The nearly white to pale blue-green range is clouds. |
