Nederlands: Monument in Apeldoorn-Zuid (NL) ter nagedachtenis aan een Deens echtpaar dat in 1944 met een vrachtwagen vol kweekvis op weg was naar forellenkwekerij 'de Zwaanspreng', maar werd beschoten door geallieerde jachtvliegtuigen en sneuvelde. Het monument werd na de Tweede Wereldoorlog geplaatst. Bij de aanleg van de hengelvijver van de Zwaanspreng in de jaren 70 werd het monument zwaar beschadigd; in 1981 volgde een renovatie. Na de buitengebruikstelling van de forellenkwekerij in 2002 raakte het overwoekerd en in verval. In oktober 2012 werd het herontdekt en opgeknapt. De tekst op het monument annex zitbankje luidt: TER NAGEDACHTENIS AAN DE GESNEUVELDE DEENSCHE CHAUFFEURS DER VISCHAUTO'S. |
