Français : Saint-Lô département de la Manche, sur une carte postale de la fin du 19e ou du début du 20e siècle. Le monument-fontaine à Léonor-Joseph Havin réalisé par Arthur Le Duc inauguré en 1888. Également appelé La presse guide l'enfance à la source de la vérité. Le buste de Léonor-Joseph Havin et les ornements en bronze sont déboulonnés et fondus sous le régime de Vichy, dans le cadre de la mobilisation des métaux non ferreux. Ce qui reste du monument est presque totalement détruit par les bombardements de 1944. |
