Description
English: Monument in the parish church of SS Peter and Paul, Belton, Kesteven, Lincolnshire. Made in 1679 by William Stanton for Sir John Brownlow, ast Baronet, who died in 1679 aged 85, and his wife Alicia Poultney, who died in 1676. He was son of Richard Brownlow and his wife Katherine. The Baronetcy expired on his death. Arms of Browlow: Or, an inescutcheon within an orle of eight martlets sable. Arms of Poultney: Argent, a fess dancetée gules in chief three leopard's faces sable
