Ci troviamo nel cuore della Selva dei Gavanti. Per immaginarla dobbiamo per un attimo cancellare il tracciato dell’Autodromo e riempirlo con alberi di carpino, quercia e acero. Poco lontano da questo punto, troviamo la porta di accesso, il Serraglio dei Cervi, costruzione ottocentesca in stle neogotico che immetteva nel recinto della grande selvaggina utilizzata per le battute di caccia: cervi, daini e caprioli.
Il Bosco Bello è ancora adesso, nonostante tutto, una delle poche testimonianze lombarde dell’antica foresta di pianura.
La fauna qui presente e osservabile è diversa: conigli con figliolanza al seguito, lepri, ghiri, talpe, ricci, scoiattoli rossi, pipistrelli, anche rari, arvicole e volpi. Le querce europee presenti sono esemplari bellissimi, per il momento sopravvissuti ai ciclici interventi di modificazione del circuito. Anche il sottobosco ci regala delle sorprese: estive more gustosissime, autunnali nocciole e castagne e da osservare con il divieto assoluto di raccolta e danneggiamenti, i funghi.

Wir befinden uns im Herzen der 'Selva dei Gavanti. Um sich das vorstellen zu können, müssen wir die Rennstrecke für einen Moment ausblenden und sie mit Hainbuchen, Eichen und Ahornbäumen füllen. Nicht weit davon entfernt befindet sich das Eingangstor, das Serraglio dei Cervi, ein Bauwerk aus dem 19. Jahrhundert im neugotischen Stil, das in das Gehege des Großwildes führte, das für die Jagd genutzt wurde: Hirsche, Damhirsche und Rehe.
Trotz allem ist der Bosco Bello noch immer eines der wenigen lombardischen Zeugnisse des alten Tieflandwaldes.
Die hier anzutreffende und zu beobachtende Fauna ist vielfältig: Kaninchen mit ihrem Nachwuchs im Schlepptau, Hasen, Siebenschläfer, Maulwürfe, Igel, rote Eichhörnchen, Fledermäuse, auch seltene, Wühlmäuse und Füchse. Bei den vorhandenen europäischen Eichen handelt es sich um schöne Exemplare, die die zyklischen Veränderungen des Kreislaufs bisher überlebt haben. Auch das Unterholz steckt voller Überraschungen: schmackhafte Brombeeren im Sommer, Haselnüsse und Kastanien im Herbst und Pilze, deren Pflücken und Beschädigung streng verboten ist.Licensing
