Summary edit

Description The Choeung Ek Killing Fields were formerly part orchard and part Chinese cemetery. The trees in the orchard stand as silent sentinels on earth that has seen brutal rape, torture and summary execution. Some of the trees still bear fruit but no one plucks them any more. Seen here are some of the graves after the bodies interred withing have been exhumed. (Phnom Penh, Cambodia, Apr/ May 2014)
