| Description |
English: Morwellham Quay, industrial artefacts. This is a corner of this large open air museum. The current state is unknown as the site was in financial difficulties and due to close at the end of the 2009 season. Hopefully a suitable rescue package will be sorted.
In the foreground are the rusty remains of a duplex steam engine used at Treskilling China Clay Works to haul waste up the spoil heap. This was long disused and by an unknown maker at an unknown date. Steam had been supplied by the vertical boiler behind. It is now at the King Edward School of Mines, Troon, near Camborne. |
