Description From 1888 to 1894 the public universal warehousing (GUM) was built in Moscow in accordance with the shopping arcade building which had it’s origin in France. The TSAR was the builder and Alexander N. Pomeranzew the architect. The structure of the roof of the upper trading rows was constructed by Vladimir Zhukov in 1893.
