English: The German engine 50 1381 on a destroyed railroad bridge across the Moselle River canal in Metz, France, circa in late 1944 or early 1945. It is unclear, if the bridge was bombed or blown up by retreating German troops.
Original caption: "Railroad Bridge Attacked - 9th Air Force fighter-bombers caught this train trying to cross the Moselle River and destroyed both it and the bridge it was on."
