Summary edit

Description Of the two children, the girl was the priest's favourite, although her face was terribly disfigured by a fungus infection. She had no education and couldn't read which is why she had trouble making sense of certain things that were happening in her life and her feelings about it. The boy too was not that much of a reader, but the priest liked to have him carry books around. He felt it lent their trio an air of purpose above reproach and that was probably true.
