Mr. Bryan: "Give It Another Chance."
Description
This illustration entitled, Mr. Bryan: "Give it Another Chance", by cartoonist Clifford Berryman, which appeared in the Washington Post on July 15, 1905, depicts William Jennings Bryan as a schoolboy about to light the fuse of a large "Free Silver" firecracker as the Democratic donkey looks on. Still a proponent of free silver, 1908 would be Bryan's third unsuccessful bid at the Presidency.
