Description
Mrs. Ella M. Dean of Montana is the official hostess of the Congressional Union for Woman Suffrage at its new home, the Cameron House, Washington, D.C. Mrs. Dean also rendered valuable services at the Women Voters Convention in California at the Panama Pacific Exposition in 1915.

  • Title transcribed from item. Date of photograph deduced from information in caption. The Woman Voters Convention at the Panama Pacific Exposition took place in September 14-16, 1915, and the Congressional Union for Woman Suffrage moved into its new headquarters at Cameron House on January 30, 1916.
  • Print appears to be a copy made by Edmonston studio in Washington, D.C., of an earlier photograph made by Harris & Ewing, Washington, D.C.. The Ewing credit appears in the lower right corner of this copy while the Edmonston name is embossed in raised letters on the print itself.
