Description
English: Mrs. Leonora Wright was a nurse who served under her maiden name of Leonora Smith during the American Civil War. Commissioned as a nurse by Gov. O. P. Morton, she was stationed at Nashville and Memphis, Tennessee, as well as at Terre Haute, Indiana. Post-war, she was a member of the National Association of Civil War Army Nurses, and resided in Terre Haute, Indiana in 1910.
