English: Mudros Harbour (south) - "HMS Europa" (depot and Flagship), "HMS Valhalla" (store Ship), "HMS St George", "HMS Pyramus", with mine-sweepers, trawlers and Mls image: Eastern Mediterranean Fleet: Aegean Squadron: Mudros Harbour (South). A group of many large and small naval ships at anchor before a rocky landscape: in the centre a large warship (HMS Europa), (Depot and Flagship), alongside her minesweeper HMS Pyramus; to the left the hulk of a sailing vessel (HMS Valhalla II, store ship); further left HMS Partridge II (Armed boarding steamer/Fleet messenger), to the right HMS St George; further to the far right an unidentified vessel, other small naval vessels. The ADMIRALTY "PINK LISTS", confirms all in possible attendance, 1917-1918. |
