| Description |
English: Mullach an Eilean The two tops seen from the southwest. Behind the summit a narrow ridge runs towards the north of the island. The grass is trimmed by the Boreray sheep, left behind after the evacuation of Hirta in 1930. Close examination of the original photograph shows a lot of sheep grazing here, while over on the eastern side of the island at Sunadal only a few were seen. Plenty more grass at Sunadal, but very hard to get at from here, even for sheep. |
