English:
Finance Guard (in Hungarian and Russian) and service pistol. Exhibition in the former Schiffer Villa, now Museum of Financial and Tax History. Based on the plans of József Vágó, built a villa in 1910 (1911). Majolica cladding, wall paneling, wood-inlaid decorations, Zsolnay ceramics. Former Red Cross HQ, Soviet Command HQ, trading company, now customs and finance guards are the owners. Lost Paradise by Miklós Ligeti (1897 marble statue), stained glass windows made in 1912 by painter Károly Kernstock and architect József Vágó reconstructed in 1992?? by Károly Sós, based photos and remains in the 1980s. - 19/B Munkácsy Mihály Street, District VI of Budapest.

Schiffer-villa. Műemlék épület, azonosító: -7925 A Vágó József tervei alapján 1910-1912 között épült villa. 1945-ig Schiffer család lakhelye, majd Vöröskereszt, szovjet parancsnokság, 1958-tól a Hungarofrucht Külkereskedelmi Vállalat székhelye, most a Vám- és Pénzügyőrség (a NAV részlege??) a tulajdonos. Pénzügyőr- és Adózástörténeti Múzeum. Belül: majolikaburkolat, falburkolatok, fa-intarziás díszítések, Zsolnay-kerámia. Az épület hallja 13 x 9,5 m alapterületű, magassága 7,4 m. A hall bal oldalfalát 7 méter szélességben és csaknem teljes magasságban Kernstock Károly ólomüveg ablaka foglalja el, 'Az elveszített ideális világ' (Kernstok Károly (festőművész), Sós Károly (üvegművész), 1912, rekonstrukció 1992?), ugyanitt található a villa márvány virágmedencéje ami Fémes Beck Vilmos alkotása, és az Elveszett paradicsom c. szobor (Ligeti Miklós, 1897 márványszobor). A Schiffer villa nagyszalon és dolgozószoba üvegablakai 1912-ben Vágó József tervei alapján a Róth Miksa műhelyben készültek (restauráltak). Megj. az épületben volt az elpusztult/lebontott Ádám és Éva díszkútja (a két kútfigura egyike az Nemzeti Galéria, másika székesfehérvári múzeum gyűjteményébe került.) és egy bronz domborműves virágváza Fémes Beck Vilmos alkotása is. A fotó Múzeumok Éjszakája 2022 rendezvény idején készült - Budapest, Terézváros, Munkácsy Mihály utca 19/B.
