Summary edit

Description
English: At the top of Murchison Falls, the Nile is 50m wide. Every second, the equivalent of 200 bathtubs full of water is forced through the Devil’s Cauldron a gap in the rocks only 7m (23 ft) wide, the mighty River Nile pours through it, tumbling down 43m (141ft), before flowing peacefully westward into Lake Albert as a placid river whose banks are dense with hippos, crocodiles, waterbuck and buffaloes. The outlet of Lake Victoria sends around 300 cubic meters per second (11,000ft³/s) of water over the falls, squeezed into a gorge that is 7m (23 ft) wide. The Nile continues its Journey toward the Mediterranean Sea through Sudan and Egypt.
