Montpellier (Hérault, Languedoc, Occitanie), Musée Fabre, temporary exhibition, unfortunately interrupted by the covid 19 pandemic then extended until June 28, 2020, "Jean Ranc, a native of Montpellier at the court of Kings". Presumed portrait of Urbain Guillaume de Lamoignon de Courson (1674-1742), high magistrate, in the costume of an adviser to the Parliament of Paris (1692); he was a member of the parliament of Languedoc and of the Court of Accounts, Aids and Finances of Montpellier, intendant at the Généralité de Rouen in 1704 then intendant of Guyenne in 1709, Ordinary State Councilor and Councilor to the Royal Finance Council in 1730.
