English: Museum Gardens Looking north across part of the formal gardens to Lichfield Registry Office on Bird Street. This was formerly the site of the Medieval Bishops Pool which became distinct from Minster Pool when divided by the Causeway Bridge erected by Bishop Langton in the early 1300's. Dredged silt from the Minster Pool formed the basis of this garden. On the left is the statue of Edward VII. |
