Summary
editDescriptionMusselburgh Sands - geograph.org.uk - 49309.jpg |
English: Musselburgh Sands. The scrap of beach exposed at low tide here is quite close to the shore, but is soon flooded. Visited about 2 hours after low water, and the tide was visibly advancing. Beyond, outwith this totally marine square is the sea wall protecting the ash lagoons. Once this spot was well out to sea, and I would not have dared visit on foot. The last of a series of sea squares visited during the lowest tide of September 2005. |
