English: Mute Swans (Cygnus olor), Heogland These two have just taken off from Loch of Heogland and were heading towards Uyeasound. The Mute Swan is arguably Europe's heaviest bird (the Great Bustrad is another challenger) and it is one several species which compete for the record of the world's heaviest flying bird. |
