Summary edit
DescriptionMy B17 has shrunk - Parham Airfield - geograph.org.uk - 966348.jpg |
English: My B17 has shrunk - Parham Airfield Matt Harrowven's electric powered model B17 Flying Fortress sits on the flying site of Parham Model Flying Club, showing off its lights and preparing for take off. Far away (in the next square) you can also see the Control Tower - now a museum - and one of the hangars of this 2nd WW B17 base.
This is due to be the site of a wind farm if it ever gets past planning permission. The NIMBYs claim this is 'an area of great natural beauty' - I'll let you judge that! |
