Description

This was posted on a friends Facebook Page, Josh - the guy doing the tattoos.

What my back means to me: The birds at top are for Luke 12:24 (Consider the ravens, for they neither sow nor reap; they have no storeroom nor barn, and yet God feeds them; how much more valuable you are than the birds!), there is Jesus, Mary, ArchAngel Michael (Saint Michael the ArchAngel, defend us in battle, Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil), the Sacred Heart with the All Seeing eye of God, Eve and an Owl (fallen mankind - Adam with a Wolf is on the opposite side), an Apple and the Snake , a Cross and Anchor (Hebrews 6:19 --- which we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and steadfast and entering into that which is within the veil) and Josh is working on a Lamenting Cherub holding a skull (the circle of life).
