Pataki Vidor 'A középkori Vár helyrajza' c. mű alapján a telek a Szomabatipiac része volt amely a Szombatkaputől ma Bécsi kapu indult. 1500 és 1820-as évek között: A török időszakból azt lehet tudni hogy a háztömb ekkoriban már beépült. Haüy 1686-os térképe 146-os sorszámmal nagymértetű házat/telket? jelez a helyen. Az első biztos említés a Blueth Gasse azaz Vér köz a mai Nándor utca és a Franciscaner Pflälzl (mai Országház utca) határolta épületről 123-as számmal mint Veit Hueber kovácsmester ingatlana tesznek 1696-ban említést. Ez a ház már Hans (Johannes) Georg Hueber kovácsmester tulajdona volt amikor az 1723-as tűzvészben (legalább) egy fal kivételével megsemmisült. Ezt a falat megtartva építették 1820 körül a jelenlegi épületet. A bejárat jobb oldalán lévő boltív utalnak a 300 éves kövekre. 1820 után: 1870-ben Rauscher Ignác tulajdonos megrendelésére a Kocka Nándor tervei alapján a ház második Ferdinánd grasse (nem gasse??) ma Nándor utca felőli kapuját lakássá alakították. HU BFL - XV.17.a.302 - 860 (megj. Egykorú cím: Vár, Országház utca - Ferdinánd utca sarok -/139., Mai cím: I. Országház utca 29.!!). - 1900-ban Oeffner Ferenc, Buda polgármestere a tulaj. 1904-től Erdélyi Kálmáné aki 1910 1913 között erkélyeket készíttet Országház utca felől és a sarokrész ablaka alá. 1917-ben az Első Magyar Papírgyár, 1924-ben a Nándor bérház Rt., 1935-ben Herczog Bankház a tulaj. - 1960-1961 Pfannl Egon tervei alapán elbontották az erkélyeket helyükre köríves ablakok kerültek. 1982-1987 Cáruk Inna és Bedekovich Éva tervei alapján átalakították melynek során az összes meglévő cserépkályhát elbontották. Az udvaron látható néhány az 1800-as évekből származó sírkő. Az 1990-es években néhány lakás tetőterét is beépítették. A felújítások során a fsz. 7-es lakásban egy 100-120 cm-es sziklát találtak. - A pincék: a ház alatt két pincce van Egy a földszint alatt tégla- dongaboltozatos, a másik 12-13 méter mélyen indul, boltozatát sziklába vájták és kb 90 méter hosszú, elfalazással a végén. Elképzelhető hogy egykor a várbarlangrendszer része lehetett legalábbis összeköttetésben állt a Bécsikapu tér alatti barlanggal illetve a szomszédos házak pincéihez is volt csatlakozása. A mélypincét 1982-1987 között betonpillérekkel és VA 30-as betonidomkő téglás boltozattal is megerősítették /megj. a kapcsolodó FTV Földmérő és Talajvizsgáló Vállalat tervrajzán Petermann bíró 4 szám szerepel/. A felső pince kiér az Országház utca alá. A mélypince részben a Nándor utca alá esik. A mélypincében vélhetően kút is volt és légoltalmi pincének is megfelelt - 'Budapest100 2022' rendezvény egyik nyitott háza Kutatás: Sibak Julianna - Budapest műemléki jelentőségű területe az ún.
