Description
English: Two "Road Ends" signs mounted on construction gates along both shoulders of Bass Drive, the former US Route 15 and 301 overlap in Santee, South Carolina. These gates are intended to persuade drivers from using the bridge over Lake Marion, which was used by cars on this road until the overlap was relocated to the nearby Interstate 95 bridge over Lake Marion in 1987, and since then has been used for a pedestrian bridge, bikeway, and fishing pier. The gates are located immediately north of a connecting road to Ballard Lane (the original US 15), in fact the gate on the left is directly on the northwest corner of that connection to Ballard Lane.
