English: Title: Aoba

Description: (Japanese Heavy Cruiser, 1927) Off Nagasaki, Japan, during the latter stages of her outfitting, circa mid-1927. This photograph was obtained by the U.S. Navy's Office of Naval Intelligence, under date 30 October 1927. The original print is in File # 13362-A (Box 1267) in ONI Registers 1886-1940, held by the National Archives. U.S. Naval History and Heritage Command Photograph.
