Stamp of Nicaragua; 19882; airmail stamp stamp of the issue "250th Anniversary of birth of George Washington" (1732-1799)"; stamp motive with a detail of a painting by William Brooke Thomas Trego (1858-1909) showing George Washington (on horseback) leading the Continental Army to Valley Forge in 1777. ("Valley Forge" was the winter quarter for a 12,000-men-Continental Army 1777/1778, which was located ca. 29 km northwestern of Philadelphia in the later "Montgomery County".); Unfortunately, the depiction of this paintting on the stamp is lateral reversed.; This painting was created end of the 19th century in the style of the historism and is contemporary located in the "Museum of the American Revolution" in Philadelphia (USA).; stamp postmarked by CTO
