English: W. Frank Steely Library, on the w:Northern Kentucky University campus, seen from the 1995 rear addition. The original front faces the campus plaza on the 3rd floor of the library, as it is built on a lopped-off hilltop, paved over with concrete. That facade is covered with an oblique glass wall, under which there is a Loggia and offices and reading areas on upper floors. This view shows the redesigned entrance to the university and to the library, which is staffed by a help desk.
Polski: W. Frank Steely Library, na kampusie Northern Kentucky Unviersity, widok na rozszerzenie budynku wykonane w 1995. Pierwotna elewacja frontowa wychodzi z odwrotnej strony budynku na plac łączący wewnętrzne budynki kampusu, na wysokości 3. piętra tej biblioteki, ponieważ jest to zniwelowane, wylane betonem wzgórze. Elewacja tamtejsza to ukośna, szklana ściana, pod którą kryje sie Loggia i na wyższych pietrach biura i czytelnie. Ten widok pokazuje przerobione wejście główne uniwersytetu. W bibliotece za szklanym wejściem jest obsadzone stanowisko witacza (jest nim zatrudniony w ramach pomocy finansowej student). |
