Summary edit

Description

New Orleans as it was slowly being reoccupied after Hurricane Katrina: A section Carrollton neighborhood which suffered damage from the hurricane but escaped major flooding from the levee failure disaster and was hence one of the first to be extensively reoccupied. Still closed corner shop. Piles of trash; pick up was still quite spotty in November 2005. Roof repair work on residential building in background.
